(Basketball News) - Rashard Lewis scored 21 points and Ray Allen added 20 as the Seattle SuperSonics led wire-to-wire in their 98-83 victory over the Denver Nuggets at KeyArena.
Vladimir Radmanovic came off the bench to collect 19 points and nine rebounds for the Sonics, who were in danger of losing their third game in four tries after opening the season with an impressive 17-2 record.
Leading 79-69 after three quarters, the Sonics put the game away with 10-2 run at the start of the fourth.
A dunk by Nene with 4 1/2 minutes remaining pulled Denver within 13 at 92-79, but that was as close as it would get.
The Sonics are off until Monday when they visit the Utah Jazz at the Delta Center.
