=== Seattle SuperSonics Team Report - February 11 ===

(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics will try and get back on the winning track on Thursday when they host the Toronto Raptors at Key Arena in the final game for both teams before this weekend’s All-Star break.

The Sonics suffered their second straight loss on Tuesday when they were on the wrong end of a 106-97 decision against the Golden State Warriors. Rashard Lewis paced Seattle with 20 points, as Seattle lost for the fourth time in the last five contests.

Ronald Murray chipped in 19 points and tied a career-high with seven rebounds, while Vitaly Potapenko contributed 17 points. Ray Allen was Seattle’s other double-figure scorer with 15.

Trailing 89-78 with 7:50 remaining, the Sonics went on an 11-2 run over the next three minutes to get within two. The run was aided by back-to-back three- pointers by Allen and was capped by two foul shots from Potapenko.

However, the Warriors responded with a 12-6 burst to take a 103-95 edge with 40 ticks left on the clock. Seattle was not able to respond and the Warriors made three free throws in the final 20 seconds to seal the win.

Seattle, which will be playing the second leg of four-game homestand tonight, has dropped four of its last five at home and is 14-13 in its arena this season.

The Sonics lost to Toronto earlier in the year, but has won four of the last five matchups. Seattle has also been an unfriendly host, beating the Raptors in five of the last seven meetings in the Emerald City.
