(Basketball News) - Ronald Murray’s fade-away jumper at the buzzer lifted the Seattle SuperSonics past the Minnesota Timberwolves, 89-87, on Tuesday at the Target Center.
Murray finished with a game-high 29 points, including 13 in the fourth quarter. He also added eight assists and six rebounds.
Jerome James had 14 points and Brent Barry added 13 for Seattle, which has won four of its first five games this season.
Murray has scored more than 20 points in each of the five games this season.
Rashard Lewis had 11 points and five boards for Seattle, which snapped a nine- game losing streak at Minnesota
The Sonics visit the Milwaukee Bucks tonight.
