(Basketball News) - The Seattle SuperSonics continued their excellent start to the season Friday, as they picked up an easy 92-79 victory over the New Jersey Nets at KeyArena.
Danny Fortson scored a team-high 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds off the bench to lead Seattle, which has the best record (12-2) in the NBA this season.
Ray Allen added 19 points for the SuperSonics, while Vladimir Radmanovic chipped in 14 points and six rebounds. The win was the third in a row for Seattle.
Seattle’s Rashard Lewis finished with just nine points, marking the first time in 14 games this season that he failed to score in double digits.
The Sonics will complete a brief two-game homestand on Sunday night against Indiana. The Pacers are undefeated in the last two seasons (4-0) against Seattle.
