(Basketball News) - Rashard Lewis scored 22 points to lead the Seattle SuperSonics to a 103-95 win over the Indiana Pacers at KeyArena.
Lewis shot 9-of-19 from the field, heading up a group of six Sonic players that scored in double figures. Ray Allen added 19 points for Seattle, which has won four straight and is an NBA-best 13-2.
Antonio Daniels and Vladimir Radmanovic tallied 14 points each for the Sonics, who have the best record in the league at 13-2. Luke Ridnour and Danny Fortson rounded out the double-digit scorers with 13 points apiece.
Ridnour and Daniels also combined to dish out 14 assists and turned the ball over only three times.
After a 9-2 run late in the fourth quarter drew the Pacers within 93-89, the Sonics answered with seven straight points to pull away for good. First, coming out of a timeout, Daniels nailed a long jumper to extend the lead to 95-89. Then, Ridnour’s three-pointer with 2:15 left gave Seattle a nine-point lead. Finally, Lewis connected on a layup with 1:12 on the clock to make it a 100-89 contest and Seattle coasted to the end.
Seattle returns to action on Tuesday versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
