Sixers’ Jackson fined $5,000

New York, NY (Basketball News) - Philadelphia 76ers forward Marc Jackson has been fined $5,000 by the NBA for directing an obscenity towards a fan, the league said Wednesday.

Jackson was fined for an incident that took place with 8:12 remaining in the third quarter of Monday’s 95-91 victory over the New Orleans Hornets in Philadelphia.

Entering play Wednesday night in Charlotte, Jackson was averaging 13.8 points and six rebounds per game this season.
