Sixers sit down Iverson

The official party line is that Iverson is out with back spasms but the enigmatic guard has reportedly asked for a trade, according to the New York Post.

Sixers president Billy King did not confirm that Iverson asked for the trade before the team’s game against the Washington Wizards.

Iverson leads the NBA in scoring, averaging 31.7 points per game, but his off- court antics have grown tiresome to the Sixers.
