San Antonio, which plays the middle contest of a three-game homestand, tries to win its fifth straight game this evening. Tony Parker scored 24 points and tallied eight assists to lead the Spurs to a 103-98 win over the Philadelphia 76ers. at the AT&T Center.
Tim Duncan scored 21 points and grabbed nine boards, while Manu Ginobili contributed 17 points and nine rebounds in the win over Philadelphia for the Spurs, who have won four in a row and eight of their last nine games overall. Michael Finley added 14 points in the victory.
The Spurs, who have won five in a row at the AT&T Center, are 9-3 at home this season. They are scheduled to host Yao Ming and the Houston Rockets on Friday.
Memphis attempts to win back-to-back games for the first time this season. Mike Miller scored a team-high 29 points, pulled down 11 rebounds and dished out seven assists as the Grizzlies held on to beat the Seattle SuperSonics, 134-126, in double overtime on Monday at the FedExForum.
Chucky Atkins came off the bench and scored 28 points in the win over the SuperSonics for Memphis, which snapped a six-game slide. Rookie Rudy Gay finished with 17 points in the victory.
The Grizzlies are a dismal 2-12 on the road this season. They have dropped three in a row as the visitor.
The Spurs have won four in a row over Memphis. The Grizzlies have lost 14 of their last 17 at San Antonio.
