(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors close their season tonight when they head to Milwaukee to face the Bucks at the Bradley Center.
Toronto comes into tonight’s tilt on a winning note after Donyell Marshall finished with 27 points and 16 rebounds in the Raptors’ 87-78 win over Detroit on Tuesday at the Air Canada Centre.
Vince Carter scored 19 points for Toronto, which snapped a three-game losing streak in their final home game of the season. Chris Bosh delivered 12 points and 13 rebounds in the win.
Earlier in the day on Tuesday their were reports that head coach Kevin O’Neill could be bought out of his contract as early as Thursday. General manager Glen Grunwald was fired in early April and team president Richard Peddie has already said a new general manager will decide whether O’Neill returns or not.
The Raptors, who are 7-12 in games played on Wednesday, have dropped five of six and seven of their last nine on the road and are 14-26 away from home on the year.
Milwaukee has won all three meetings with the Raptors this season, but could be at a disadvantage tonight as the home team in this series has won six of seven and eight of the last nine matchups.
The Bucks have also won four straight and five of their last six against Toronto, which has dropped five of seven in Milwaukee.
