(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors try to get back on the winning track this evening when they continue their four-game road trip against the New Orleans Hornets at New Orleans Arena.
On Wednesday, the Raptors were defeated by the Detroit Pistons, 95-91, at The Palace of Auburn Hills.
Carter netted 27 points and Donyell Marshall added 20 with 16 rebounds for the Raptors, who had a two-game road win streak stopped. Jalen Rose and Morris Peterson scored 17 and 11 points in the loss.
On the injury front, rookie forward Chris Bosh missed his third straight game with a knee injury and is not likely to play in tonight’s affair.
Toronto, which has lost five of its last seven on the road, is 7-11 as the visitor this season.
The Hornets have won five straight and six of the last seven contests with the Raptors, who have lost two straight and 10 of their last 11 at the Hornets.
