Toronto Raptors Team Report - January 24 01.24.2004
|
(Basketball News) - Vince Carter returned to the lineup for the Toronto Raptors on Friday, but it did not matter, as they found themselves on the wrong end of a 98-86 decision against the Milwaukee Bucks at the Bradley Center.
Donyell Marshall led the Raptors with 17 points, as Toronto lost its fourth straight contest. Jalen Rose posted 15 points while Chris Bosh added 14.
Carter, playing in his first game after missing the previous three contests with a leg injury, scored eight points and dished out eight assists.
The Raptors got within nine on two occasions with under nine minutes in the final period, but that was the closest they would come the rest of the game. Milwaukee led by as much as 15 in the final five minutes to put the game out of reach.
Toronto returns to action on Sunday against the Chicago Bulls.
