(Basketball News) - Toronto posted an 85-81 win over the Utah Jazz at the Air Canada Centre Wednesday night.
Vince Carter led the way with 24 points and nine rebounds, while Donyell Marshall and Jalen Rose posted 17 points apiece. Morris Peterson chipped in 11 points off the bench.
Carter ended 5-of-9 from the field and scored 14 points in the fourth quarter for the Raptors, who have won two straight contests.
Earlier in the day the Raptors activated guard Alvin Williams from the injured list. Williams, who had missed 11 games with a knee injury, scored six points in 27 minutes.
Toronto won for only the fourth time in its last 14 home games. For the year, the Raptors are just 17-17 in the friendly confines of the Air Canada Centre.
The Raptors currently sit 10th in the Eastern Conference — 1 1/2 games back of the seventh place New York Knicks. Toronto closes out its current four-game homestand against Chicago.
The Raptors will begin a four-contest road trip in New Orleans on Sunday.
