(Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors fell to the Houston Rockets, 90-89, on Wednesday at the Toyota Center.
Vince Carter had 26 points and a season-high 13 rebounds for the Raptors, who suffered their second straight defeat overall and their fourth straight in Houston. Jalen Rose added 20 points and seven assists, while Chris Bosh chipped in with 13 points.
Toronto is in 10th place in the Eastern Conference, 1 1/2 games behind the Cleveland Cavaliers.
The Raptors are off until Friday when they visit the New York Knicks. It will be the fourth and final meeting of the season between the two squads. Toronto is 1-2 against the Knicks.
Carter has scored 24 or more points in six straight games. He has averaged 30.7 points in that span.
