(Basketball News) - Vince Carter scored 34 points and grabbed a season-high 10 rebounds Sunday to lead Toronto to an 89-76 win over Denver at Air Canada Centre.
Carter ended 14-of-22 from the field and also added six assists for the Raptors, who won their first four home games of the year for the first time in franchise in history.
Milt Palacio added 14 points, while Jerome Williams contributed 13 rebounds for Toronto, which shot 49 percent from the field (37-of-76).
Toronto has won five of the last seven meetings and eight of the last 12 with Denver.
Prior to the game, Toronto activated guard Rick Brunson from the injured list and placed forward Chris Jefferies on the injured list with a lower back strain.
The Raptors are off until Tuesday when they start a three-game road against Portland.
