Toronto’s Alvin Williams to undergo knee surgery

Toronto, ON (Basketball News) - The Toronto Raptors announced on Thursday that guard Alvin Williams will undergo arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.

The procedure, which will relieve inflammation from the joint, will be performed by Dr. Paul Marks in Toronto on Friday.

Williams is averaging 8.9 points and 4.1 assists in 54 games this season, but has missed the last two contests due to the sore knee.
