Rose was in the starting lineup for the Raptors 101-84 victory over the Hawks, netting 23 points in 41 minutes of play.
Rose had missed the previous 16 games since he fractured his left hand in a Toronto victory at Golden State on February 8. The 10-year veteran underwent surgery on February 10 and was immediately placed on the IL.
Rose, who had played in 286 consecutive games prior to the injury, came into the contest averaging 14.4 points and 4.7 assists in 49 games this season. He was acquired from Chicago in a six-player trade on December 1.
To make room on the roster, the Raptors placed center Robert Archibald on the injured list with lower back problems. In 25 games this season, Archibald is averaging 1.2 points and 1.7 rebounds.
