Utah Jazz Team Report - December 6 12.6.2003
|
(Basketball News) - Matt Harpring scored 20 points to help the Utah Jazz continue their strong play at home with an 86-67 win over the Los Angeles Clippers on Friday at the Delta Center.
Raja Bell and DeShawn Stevenson each added 12 points as the Jazz improved to 10-1 at home. Andrei Kirilenko chipped in 10 to reach double-digits in all 18 games this season.
Despite the loss of future Hall of Famers Karl Malone and John Stockton, Utah has been impressive this season while compiling a record of 11-7.
The Jazz were expecting to face Malone, now with the Lakers, for the first time since his departure, but the burly power forward was slapped with a one- game suspension on Friday that will sideline him for Sunday’s game against the Jazz in Los Angeles.
After their game in LA on Sunday, the Jazz will return home for a three-game stretch.
