=== Utah Jazz Team Report - January 28 ===

(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz try to remain on the winning track this evening when they wrap up a three-game homestand against the smoking-hot Dallas Mavericks at the Delta Center.

Utah stopped a five-game losing streak on Monday, as Greg Ostertag scored a season-high 18 points, pulled down 14 rebounds and blocked five shots in leading the Jazz to a 98-93 victory over the Los Angeles Clippers.

Carlos Arroyo scored nine of his team-high 20 points in the final minute for Utah, which won for the seventh time in its last 10 games at home. Raja Bell and Andrei Kirilenko each netted 13 points, and DeShawn Stevenson chipped in with 11.

After the Clippers cut the deficit to 96-93 with eight seconds left, Arroyo, who made 7-of-7 foul shots in the final 60 seconds, knocked two down with three seconds left to avoid giving Los Angeles a chance to try a game-tying shot at the buzzer.

Kirilenko returned to the court for the first time in five games. Kirilenko, who is Utah’s leading scorer, along with the injured Matt Harpring, at 16.2 points-per-game, had been sidelined with an ankle injury.

Utah is 18-6 at home this season.

The Jazz have split their two meetings with the Mavs this season and have won two of the last three in the series. Dallas, though, has won three of five, six of nine and eight of the last 13 matchups, including two straight and five of eight in Utah.
