(Basketball News) - Utah dropped its second straight contest Wednesday night, falling 85-81 to the Toronto Raptors at Air Canada Centre.
Gordan Giricek led the way for the Jazz with 25 points, while Andrei Kirilenko added 20 points and seven rebounds. Carlos Arroyo and Jarron Collins chipped in 10 points apiece.
Utah hit its first 23 free throws before finishing 25-of-28 from the charity stripe. The Jazz hit just 39 percent from the field in the contest, including just 2-of-9 from beyond the three-point arc.
The Jazz committed 17 turnovers and were outrebounded, 40-38, in the losing effort.
Utah had a four-game series winning streak against the Raptors stopped. The Jazz have still won nine of their last 13 meetings with Toronto.
Utah, which sits 1 1/2 games back of Denver for the final playoff slot in the West, returns to the hardwood Friday in Cleveland.
The Jazz are in the midst of a four-game road trip. For the year, Utah is just 11-23 in foreign buildings.
