(Basketball News) - Utah posted an 87-81 win over the Atlanta Hawks on Saturday evening at Philips Arena.
Andrei Kirilenko scored 18 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and handed out seven assists, as he led the Jazz to the win. Raja Bell also had 18 points for the Jazz, who have won two straight games to pull even with Denver for the final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
Carlos Arroyo and Jarron Collins both chipped in 12 points while Collins also hauled in seven boards in the win. Greg Ostertag had a game-high 11 rebounds for Utah.
After falling behind 72-65, Utah used an 8-0 surge to pull ahead by one. Aleksandar Pavlovic’s basket at the midway point of the final period staked the Jazz to a 77-74 lead.
Raul Lopez then drained a hoop with 3:54 remaining to make it 83-76 and the Hawks never got closer than five points the rest of the game.
The Jazz were 2-of-8 from three-point range (25 percent) and 13-of-14 from the foul line (93 percent). Utah finished its five-game road trip 3-2.
The Jazz swept the season series and have won three straight and 10 of the last 12 matchups with Atlanta.
Utah has the next two days off before returning home to host the Washington Wizards in Salt Lake City.
