Utah Jazz Team Report - November 11

(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz found themselves on the wrong end of a 104-95 decision against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday at the Delta Center.

Raja Bell paced Utah with 20 points off the bench, while Carlos Boozer scored 19 points and Keith McLeod chipped in 16 for the Jazz, who opened the 2004-05 campaign with four consecutive wins.

The Jazz were searching for their best start since opening the 2000-01 campaign with five consecutive wins.

The Raptors rallied from a six-point deficit in the fourth quarter, going on an 11-2 spurt and holding off the Jazz in the final two minutes after Rafer Alston’s three-pointer put Toronto ahead 98-91.

Toronto never relinquished the lead and kept Utah under 100 points for the first time this season. The Jazz shot 41 percent from the floor.

Andrei Kirilenko has averaged 15.8 points, six boards and 5.8 blocks in Utah’s first five games of the season, while Boozer has registered team-highs in points (19.2 ppg) and rebounds (9.8 rpg).

Utah will return to the court on Saturday when it hosts the defending NBCA champion Detroit Pistons.
