(Basketball News) - Utah won for the first time in five road tilts Friday night, downing the Minnesota Timberwolves, 85-77, at the Target Center. Carlos Arroyo scored a career-high 30 points to lead the Jazz to the win.
Matt Harpring chipped in 12 points and Andrei Kirilenko added 11 for the Jazz, who halted a two-game losing streak. Raja Bell added 10 points in the winning effort.
Utah forward Keon Clark will need surgery to remove bone spurs from his right ankle. Clark will miss at least six weeks after the procedure.
The Jazz will hit the hardwood on Saturday night to take on the Bucks in Milwaukee.
The Jazz have played on back-to-back nights just one other time this season, as they beat Memphis 96-89 in the second game. Utah is 0-1 against the Eastern Conference this season.
