(Basketball News) - The Utah Jazz dropped a 107-92 decision against the Orlando Magic on Wednesday at the TD Waterhouse Centre.
Carlos Boozer collected 27 points and eight boards for Utah. Mehmet Okur netted 13 points and Andrei Kirilenko added 12 for the Jazz. Okur also had seven rebounds, while Kirilenko ended with eight.
Boozer has 81 points and 34 rebounds in his last three games.
Okur’s three-point play with 8:31 left in the fourth quarter gave Utah an 80-76 lead. Orlando then responded with an 18-4 burst to grab a 94-84 advantage with 3:14 remaining.
After Kirilenko scored on a follow-up for the Jazz, DeShawn Stevenson converted a three-point play and Steve Francis followed with a jumper from the corner to stake the Magic to a commanding 99-86 lead with just 1:58 left.
The margin reached as many as 17 at 107-90 in the closing seconds.
Raja Bell contributed 10 points and eight rebounds for Utah, which has still captured six of the last 10 meetings between the two teams
Utah continues its four-game homestand on Friday against the Miami Heat. The Jazz will close the swing on Saturday against the Atlanta Hawks.
