(Basketball News) - The Jazz opened their six-game homestand with a 90-88 win over the Orlando Magic on Monday night. It was the second victory in three games for Utah.
Andrei Kirilenko scored 25 points and pulled down 10 rebounds to lead the Jazz. Matt Harpring contributed 14 points and a career-high 19 rebounds, while Carlos Arroyo had 16 points for Utah, which improved to 5-0 at the Delta Center.
Arroyo hit a pair of free throws with 29.4 seconds remaining to give Utah a 90-88 lead and the Jazz held on for the win.
The Jazz shot just 36 percent from the field in the game, but dominated the game on the boards, outrebounding the Magic, 52-31. Utah pulled down 23 offensive rebounds to counter its poor shooting.
Utah is off until Wednesday when it welcomes the high-scoring Sacramento Kings to the Delta Center.
