Vince Carter May Need Surgery

Vince Carter had to sit out the Nets’ 106-87 loss to the Pistons Friday night because of a sprained right ankle that may need surgery.

If Carter does have to undergo an operation, it won’t happen until the offseason, which likely will arrive a lot sooner than the Nets had been anticipating. [NY Daily News]
