Golden State just had its two-game winning streak halted with Friday’s 105-101 loss to the Phoenix Suns at US Airways Center. Monta Ellis chipped in 24 points and six assists and Baron Davis finished with 19 points, seven assists and six boards for the Warriors.
Golden State is 0-1 on a six-game road trip to Phoenix, Toronto, New Jersey, Boston, Orlando and Miami. It is also just 1-7 away from Oakland this season.
Toronto, meanwhile, has won two straight after a four-game losing streak and notched a 90-78 home victory over New Jersey on Friday.
T.J.Ford led a balanced attack with 17 points, nine rebounds and eight assists, as the Raptors bested the Nets at the Air Canada Centre. Anthony Parker and Joey Graham each netted 15 points, while Graham also pulled down nine boards for the Raptors, who had six players in double figures.
Rasho Nesterovic added 12 points for Toronto, which announced before the game that Toronto forward Chris Bosh, who has missed the last four games, will be out indefinitely with a bone bruise on his left knee.
After the Raptors host Golden State, they will hit the road for four games at Phoenix, the Los Angeles Clippers, Portland and Seattle.
The Warriors topped the Raptors, 110-99, at Golden State on November 14 this season and have won three straight, five of six and seven of the last nine meetings.
Golden State has won three of four and five of its last eight trips to Toronto.
