Warriors sign Brandan Wright

Oakland, CA (Basketball News) - The Golden State Warriors have signed Brandan Wright, the eighth overall selection in the 2007 NBA Draft, to a contract on Friday.

Terms of the deal were not released.

The 19-year-old Wright was originally selected by the Charlotte Bobcats with the eighth pick, then was acquired by Golden State in exchange for Jason Richardson and the draft rights to the 36th overall pick (Jermareo Davidson).

Wright, a 6-10 forward, played one season at the University of North Carolina, where he averaged 14.7 points, 6.2 rebounds, 1.0 assist and 1.76 blocks per game. He led the Atlantic Coast Conference in field goal percentage (64.6 percent), and was the ACC Rookie of the Year.

maybe the bulls is going insane about noah ,how about trading noah to golden state for brandan wright .
