=== Washington Wizards Team Report - February 19 ===

(Basketball News) - The Washington Wizards continued to struggle on Wednesday and found themselves on the wrong end of a 120-98 decision against the New Orleans Hornets at New Orleans Arena.

Juan Dixon led the Wizards with 16 points and Kwame Brown chipped in 12 for Washington, which has dropped three in a row.

The game was broken wide open in the third, as the Hornets began the third quarter by shooting 12-for-16. They scored on 11 straight possessions during a 21-4 run and took a commanding 81-61 lead.

New Orleans eventually carried a 91-69 cushion into the final quarter. Both clubs then netted 29 points in the fourth quarter, but the Hornets were ahead by a comfortable margin and collected the 22-point victory.

The Wizards, who fell to 3-8 on Wednesdays this season, have dropped 14 of their last 15 games on the road and are 5-22 away from home this season.

Washington, which has lost four of its last six at home, returns to action on Friday when they host the Indiana Pacers. It is just 4-10 in games played on Fridays this season.

The Wizards have split their two meetings with the Pacers this season and have won three of the last four meetings.Washington, though, has been a generous host to the Pacers and have dropped seven of its last 12 at home to Indiana.
