Bruce Bowen Biography Bruce Bowen Bio If defense wins championships, then the San Antonio Spurs have a very important player in Bruce Bowen. The veteran is one of the premier defenders in the NBA today. An NBA All-Defensive first team member last season, Bowen made the All-Defensive second team the previous three seasons. In 2003, Bowen was a key member of the Spurs championship team.
