Posted by chaunceymcdyessalways on 03.4.2009 | What up all my Pistons Friends. I never flew on an airplane before. It makes me freak out. I was almost on a flight to be @ the Palace to see the return of Chauncey. I had the money, the vacation time off from work and my trip would have been 12 hours. Thats show much I miss and love Chauncey. Mason did a SPECTACULAR JOB last nite announcing Chauncey. It was a beautiful thing to watch. I was almost in tears. Joe Dumars you did more than traded Chauncey, you messed up something so special and you will never be able to get that back again. In fact, there is no such in any organizations in the NBA. Man Chauncey is not just another basketball playa. This man is classy, has character, he is skilled, has a HIGH IQ for the game and has the respect of EVERYBODY he comes across. Hes sexy as hell, smooth and just bad! Just as Rip said last nite, he was looking forward to him and Chauncey retiring from Detroit. Joe D u moved to fast. You could have at least wait until the All Star break to see where the team was. You overreacted and it shows a weakness in your decision making. It makes me sick on the stomach. NO more BIG SHOT in Detroit. My Goodness! WHY??? I enjoyed the game so much last nite here in South Carolina. Im going to see the Pistons Saturday in Atlanta. I have lowerlevel seats. $90 a pop. Its still hard though with no Chauncey. The saying about "All Good Things Come To An End", WOW!! Unbelievable. At least I can see him ball with the Denver Nuggets and Im a Piston Fan for life. Love Antonio, Rip and all. JOE IF THERE IS ANYWAY U CAN BRING BACK CHAUNCEY, DO IT! . | Posted by melo boy on 01.8.2009 | hello second round in the playoffs! now that chauncy is a nugget, the nuggs can get out of the first round . | Posted by Carolina Girl on 11.12.2008 | I posted this about a week ago. I dont know what happen to it but here you are Chauncey. I Love you. <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<Bobcats game in Charlotte NC. Right before that, I could not go to Obama’s rally becz people were out there since 5am in the morning. So I missed that and then the big bomb. I could not believe it. I dont care about no dag on Allen Iverson. But its all good. I will be a TRUE FAN TO YOU AND MCDYESS. I WILL NOW FOLLOW U TO THE NUGGETS AND I WILL COME TO SEE YOU TUESDAY NITE NOV. 11/2008 WHEN U COME TO PLAY THE BOBCATS. I CANT BELIEVE. I ATE BREATHE DETROIT PISTONS BALL. I WILL ALWAYS BE A FAN OF THE PISTONS, BUT I MUST ADMIT, IT WILL NOT BE THE SAME. IT WILL NEVA BE THE SAME. I DONT CARE IF THEY BROUGHT KOBE/LEBRON TO THE PALACE. IT WILL NEVER MEAN AS MUCH AS U HAVE CHAUNCEY. YOU ARE THE ULTIMATE PLAYER, PERSON, FRIEND SOMEONE COULD HAVE. WHEN MY DAY GOES BAD, AND THERE’S ON A GAME ON NBA LEAGUE Pa-------WITH THE PISTONS, I WAS ALRIGHT. I HAD A MOMENT OF CALMNESS AND EASE. GOSH THIS TRADE BUSINESS HURTS. I WAS HAPPY WITH YOU ALL WINNING 59/60 GAMES GUARANTEEING ME POST SEASON PLAY. I THINK FOLKS ARE TO GREEDY. HELL U DID GET ONE CHAMPIONSHIP. EVERY TEAM CANT WIN AND THE PISTONS PROBALY STILL WONT WIN. MY GOD, JOE DUMARS WHY DID U DO IT. THIS IS ONE OF THE CLASSIEST GUYS AROUND. HE WAS SUPPOSE TO RETIRE A PISTON AND WORK FOR THE ORGANIZATION AFTER RETIREMENT. CHAUNCEY, COLORODO I FOUND OUT IS OVER 2000 MILES FROM SOUTH CAROLINA. I DONT KNOW HOW I CAN VACATION THERE, BECZ I DONT DO AIRPLANES. WE WILL WORK SOMETHING OUT. I WILL JUST CATCH YOU AROUND THE EAST COAST SINCE THE WEST AND EAST ONLY PLAY EACH OTHER 2X A YEAR. CHAUNCEY, I LOVE U MAN. NOT IN A ROMANTIC WAY. JUST ALL AROUND. YOU ALWAYS GIVE ME THE AUDACITY TO AT LEAST SPEAK TO ME AT EVERY GAME I SPEND MY HARD EARNED MONEY ON. I APPRECIATE THAT. PEOPLE LIKE SHEED SHLD TAKE A NOTE. BUT THE GAME MONDAY NITE WAS STILL GREAT. MY FRIEND GOT RIP HEADBAND AND I SNATCHED IT OUT OF HER HAND. HOPEFULLY SEE U NEXT WEEK. GOOD LUCK IN ALL OF YOUR ENDEAVORS. IF CHAUNCEY GOES, I WILL NOT SUPPORT THE DETROIT PISTIONS. IT JUST RIGHT W/OUT HIM AND RIP. CHAUNCEY HAD A HAMSTRING INJURY AND THAT WAS NOT HIS FAULT THE LEAGUE WANTED THE CELTICS ANDLAKERS IN THE FINALS ONCE AGAIN. THE PISTIONS NEED A CONSISTENT 15 POINT PLAYER A TAYSHAUN AND TAY’S BACK UP. IM NOT TALKING ABOUT 2 GAMES HERE OR THERE, EVERY NITE. AND THEY NEED TO GO BACK TO THE DEFENSE LARRY BROWN HAD THEM PLAYING IN 2004 AND 2005. IM TELLING U I WILL START A RUCKUSS IN DETROIT RIGHT HERE IN ORANGEBURG IF CHAUNCEY IS TRADED. JOE U NEED TO STOP TRIPPING AND PANICING, YOU SUPPOSE TO BE SO COOL, WELL JOE COOL U ARE TRIPPING. . | Posted by Nate on 06.20.2008 | Though i live in New Jersey i am originally from Detroit and a lifelong Pistons fan. Chauncey is my favorite player in the entire league. I love how he leads on and off the court. When the Pistons lost in the ECF these past three years, i was crest fallen. To think that Chauncey wouldn’t be a Piston in 2008 is unimaginable. I think of how he went through such a trying time early in his career and how Joe Dumars convinced him to believe in himself again; told him he would be a leader, an AllStar and realize his dreams. Well he did all of that and more; fullfilling everything that Joe saw in him. I recall how it was Joe’s first priority to resign him. Billups made it clear to his agent that no other team would be in play; Detroit was where he wanted to end his carreer. Now to say that he’s on the trading block after playing the best he could while being hurt is unsettling. Had he not been hurt, it just may have been the Pistons in the Finals. Don’t get me wrong, i love this young guy Rodney Stuckey, he is tenacious and is definetly the Pistons point guard of the future but Chauncey is the face of the Pistons. We lost one leader in Ben Wallace; now possibly Chauncey too! We Detroiters love him. I tried searching the web on why Walt Frazier was traded to Cleveland in 1977 because i saw similarities. I found a piece on the web called "The Association: Clyde Billups"? It states the similarities between Walt Frazier being traded to Cleveland in1977 and Chauncey’s possible trade from Detroit. All i can say is i’m hoping and praying that Chauncey doesn’t get traded. If he does i won’t go so far as to say that Detroit will no longer be my favorite team but, i’ll now have two favorite teams. I have not felt this way about a player since Earl "The Pearl" Monroe was traded from Balitmore to the Knicks. The only difference is, the Knicks became my favorite team after the "Pearl" trade. . | Posted by D-Diva on 05.18.2008 | Chauncey I think you are the #1 point guard in the NBA I don’t care what nobody say. I just like the way you get after it when you are on the court you are a go getter and that’s what you need out on the court and I love watching you play. I think you are a terrific person and I think you are a very handsome guy your wife is very lucky to have you . You should’ve been the MVP this year. God bless you and your family.
