Became the first Sonics player in franchise history to win the NBA.com Slam Dunk contest, at NBA All-Star 2001 Saturday night on Feb. 10, after he received a score of 89 out of a possible 100 points in the final round, defeating Baron Davis of the Charlotte Hornets (85) and DeShawn Stevenson of the Utah Jazz (77). Scored in double-figures in 14 games. Scored 20 or more points in two games (22 vs. Minnesota on 1/19 and 25 vs. San Antonio on 4/18). Forced overtime twice with last-second dunks in two Sonic victories (114-110 at L.A. Clippers on January 24 and 109-97 at L.A. Lakers on March 11.
