| Good point, Milan. While people may forget about Childress while he’s abroad, Kobe will bring the cameras with him. With his conditioning being as good as it is, there’s nothing besides injury which would stop him from returning to stardom in the NBA at thirty-three or so. With the shorter Euroleague season, he might even come back in better shape than before, particularly if he takes advantage of the longer summer by resting his legs and getting his pinky fixed.
