Muncie, IN (Basketball News) - Peyton Stovall scored 18 points and dished out five assists to lead the Ball State Cardinals to a 76-67 victory over the Kent State Golden Flashes in a Mid-American Conference clash.
Terrance Chapman also added 18 points for Ball State (6-4, 1-1 MAC), which snapped a two-game losing streak. Julien Mills contributed 12 points in the victory for the Cardinals.
Jason Edwin and Marcus Crenshaw both tallied 13 points for Kent State (8-4, 1-1), which has a two-game losing streak. DeAndre Haynes posted 11 points and dished out seven assists, while Nate Gerwig chipped in nine points and grabbed 10 rebounds in the losing effort.
