(Basketball News) - The Boston Celtics lost to the San Antonio Spurs, 107-90, on Sunday at the SBC Center.
Ricky Davis paced Boston with 21 points. Paul Pierce had 16 points for the Celtics, who have lost 14 straight at San Antonio. Gary Payton, Jiri Welsch and Raef LaFrentz each had 10 points in the loss for the Celtics.
Davis has scored in double-digits in seven straight games. He is averaging 17.7 points in that span.
Boston is off until Tuesday when it visits the Dallas Mavericks for the second contest of its three-game road trip. It will be the second meeting of the season between the clubs. The Celtics are scheduled to host the Mavericks on March 30, 2005 at the FleetCenter.
The Celtics finish their road swing on Wednesday at Memphis against the Grizzlies.
