(Basketball News) - Rasheed Wallace scored 18 points and the Detroit defense held the Seattle SuperSonics to a franchise-low tying 65 points in an 86-65 Pistons rout on Sunday at KeyArena.
Tayshaun Prince scored 14 points and Ben Wallace had 12 points with a game- high 13 rebounds for the Pistons, who have won seven of their last eight games.
Detroit played again without starting guard Richard Hamilton, who is recovering from surgery to repair a broken nose. He hopes to return on Wednesday at home against the Chicago Bulls.
After holding the Nuggets to just 66 points on Saturday, the Pistons have allowed a total of 131 points in their last two games and have held the opposition to under 70 points the last three games.
Detroit, at 41-25, is third in the Eastern Conference standings, 7 1/2 games back of the Indiana Pacers.
The Pistons will kick off a brief two-game homestand on Wednesday against the Bulls and will close the stand against the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday. Detroit is 21-10 at home this season.
