Bulls activate Pippen from IL 01.13.2004
|
Pippen, a versatile guard/forward who has appeared in just 12 games this season, returns slightly over a month after he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee. He underwent the procedure on December 12 and was placed on the IL several days later.
The 38-year-old Pippen is averaging 7.1 points, 3.4 rebounds and 2.9 assists this season.
In order to make room for Pippen on the team’s active roster, Chris Jefferies was placed on the injured list with a sprained left ankle. Jeffries was acquired from Toronto in the trade that brought Antonio Davis and Jerome Williams over to the Bulls. He has appeared in 10 games with Chicago.
