Kings’ Miller out with broken leg

03.13.2005

Sacramento, CA (Basketball News) - Sacramento Kings center Brad Miller will miss at least a month of action with a broken leg, the team announced Friday night.

Miller, a two-time All-Star, has missed the last six games with a bruised calf, only to break the leg during a non-contact drill.

The bone will take 4-6 weeks to heal, according to team doctors, meaning his status for the start of the playoffs is uncertain.

Miller is averaging 15.6 points, 9.3 rebounds and 3.9 assists per game with the Kings this season. His stellar play allowed the team to deal Chris Webber to the 76ers just prior to the trade deadline.
