(Basketball News) - The Boston Celtics lost their fourth in a row on Sunday, falling to the San Antonio Spurs, 109-92, at the FleetCenter.
Paul Pierce paced Boston with 19 points, while Mark Blount chipped in 15 as the Celtics dropped their fourth straight after a three-game winning streak. Ricky Davis contributed 14 points in a losing cause.
"It’s really tough when you go out on the court and all five guys aren’t on the same page all the time," Pierce said. "We’re trying to find our way together as a team that just came together this year."
Marcus Banks had 13 points off the bench for Boston, which has lost five of its last seven at home. The Celtics shot 42 percent from the field and were outrebounded by San Antonio, 50-34.
After scoring just four points against Houston on January 14, Pierce is averaging 19.5 points over the last two contests.
The Celtics are off until Tuesday when they visit the Miami Heat.
