(Basketball News) - The Denver Nuggets host the struggling Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday at the Pepsi Center. It will be the second and final meeting of the season between the clubs. On February 15th, the Nuggets knocked off the Hawks, 100-96, at Philips Arena. With the win, Denver snapped a seven-game series losing streak.

Overall, Atlanta has won eight of 10, 10 of 13 and 12 of the last 16 meetings against the Nuggets. The Hawks have won three straight after losing their last two at Denver. These two teams have split the last 10 meetings at Denver.

The Nuggets will attempt to win their fourth straight game overall. On Sunday, Carmelo Anthony scored a game-high 31 points, including 17 in the final quarter, as Denver rallied from 11 points down to record their third consecutive victory with a 94-93 decision over the struggling Hornets at New Orleans Arena. Anthony went 8-of-20 from the floor, 14-of-14 from the free throw line and added 10 rebounds for Denver, which has won 10 of its last 14 overall.

Earl Boykins came off the bench to add 16 points in Denver’s win over NEw Orleans, while Andre Miller, Kenyon Martin and Bryon Russell netted 12 points apiece. Miller also had six assists and six steals, while Marcus Camby grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked seven shots to go along with his five points.

Denver is 12-23 when it scores under 100 points this season.

Under head coach George Karl, the Nuggets have compiled a 10-4 record. Karl became the head coach on January 27th.

The Nuggets are 16-9 at home this season. Denver, which will host the Indiana Pacers on Thursday, has won five in a row at the Pepsi Center.

Denver will be playing the Pacers for the second and final time in the 2004-05 campaign. On January 29th, the Nuggets knocked off Indiana, 95-88, at Conseco Fieldhouse. After Thursday’s game, Denver will travel to Los Angeles to face the Clippers on Saturday.

Boykins has played over 30 minutes in his last two contests and is averaging 17.5 points and 3.5 assists. He has scored in double-digits 37 times in the 2004-05 campaign.
