Divac had been on the IL since December 22 and then underwent microsurgery on January 6 to correct a herniated disc in his back. The 37-year-old was first placed on the injured list on November 1 with the same injury and returned to the lineup on November 23, but played just 37 minutes over the next eight games before aggravating the problem.
The 16-year pro is averaging only 0.8 points and 1.1 rebounds in 4.6 minutes per game. Divac, a former first-round pick of the Lakers in the 1989 draft, has posted 11.9 points and 8.3 boards per contest during his career.
Divac spent his first seven years in Hollywood before playing the next six in Sacramento. Divac then signed with LA to finish out his career prior to this season.
Mihm injured his ankle in the second quarter of the team’s Saturday night loss to San Antonio. For the season, the Texas product is averaging career-highs with 9.6 points, 6.7 boards and 1.5 blocked shots.
