On Tuesday, the Washington Wizards play the fourth of a six-game road trip when they visit the Kings at ARCO Arena. It is the second and final meeting of the campaign between the clubs. On March 5th, Antawn Jamison scored 31 points and grabbed eight rebounds and All- Star Gilbert Arenas netted 23, as the Wizards defeated the Kings, 117-107, at the Verizon Center.
Washington has lost seven straight after winning its last two at Sacramento. Its last win on the road against the Kings was on December 16, 1996.
The Kings attempt to get back on the winning track against Washington. On Sunday, Adonal Foyle scored 18 points as Golden State downed Sacramento, 90-83, at ARCO Arena.
Shareef Abdur-Rahim scored 24 points and grabbed nine rebounds in the loss to the Warriors for the Kings, who have dropped four of their last six games overall. Mike Bibby scored 22 points, while Ron Artest ended with 11 points and Kenny Thomas grabbed 11 boards in defeat.
Sacramento is a solid 23-12 at ARCO Arena this season.
The Kings are scheduled to split their final 12 games of the regular season evenly between home and the road. Besides Washington, they will also host the Clippers, Rockets, Suns, Hornets and Seattle.
Sacramento’s last six road games are against Portland, Golden State, Dallas, San Antonio, the Clippers and Denver. The Kings are just 12-23 on the road.
