Mike James scored a career-high 39 points and was a perfect 18-of-18 from the free-throw line — a Raptors record. Toronto, which hadn’t won since March 24 against Minnesota, got 20 points from Morris Peterson and 15 by Charlie Villanueva.
The Raptors will close out a two-game homestand against Indiana and are 1-5 in their last six games at the Air Canada Centre. Toronto is 15-25 at home this season and conclude the 2005-06 campaign Wednesday in Chicago.
