Boston, MA (Basketball News) - Mike Sweetney scored 16 points and grabbed eight rebounds for the Chicago Bulls, who defeated the Boston Celtics 98-82 in preseason action at TD Banknorth Garden.

Kirk Hinrich added 14 points for Chicago, which saw six different players score in double-digits.

Paul Pierce had a game-high 24 points and dished out four assists and Ricky Davis scored 13 points for Boston. . Mark Blount finished with a double-double (10 points, 10 rebounds) for the Celtics, who shot just 38 percent from the floor.
