Boston, MA (Basketball News) - Ricky Davis and Justin Reed each poured in 19 points as the Boston Celtics defeated the Cleveland Cavaliers, 101-100, at the TD Banknorth Garden.

Paul Pierce added 17 points in 18 minutes of action in the Boston victory. Center Mark Blount chipped in 10 points.

Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 18 points and had four rebounds in the Cavaliers loss. LeBron James had 16 points on 3-of-11 shooting from the floor.

Boston’s Delonte West left the game with a mid-foot sprain in the third quarter. X-rays were negative.
