Silver Stars’ Thomas expected to miss rest of season

San Antonio, TX (Basketball News) - San Antonio Silver Stars forward LaToya Thomas is expected to miss the rest of the year with a shoulder injury.

Thomas tore the posterior glenoid labrum in her right shoulder during last Saturday’s game against the Connecticut Sun. She underwent an MRI on Monday and team doctors will decide Wednesday if she’ll need surgery.

The 23-year-old Thomas averaged 12.4 points and 4.4 rebounds in nine games this season.
