Washington, DC (Basketball News) - Lauren Jackson had 18 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Seattle Storm to a 73-71 victory over the Washington Mystics at the Verizon Center. Betty Lennox added 14 points and five assists and Iziane Castro-Marques added 13 points for the Storm, who have won their last two games. Alana Beard had a game-high 30 points and Chasity Melvin added 12 points and 11 rebounds for the Mystics, who have lost two of their last three games. Coco Miller’s three-pointer pulled Washington to 71-69 with 9.3 seconds left. Barbara Turner, though, made two free throws with 6.4 seconds remaining to seal it for Seattle.
