Silver Stars down Washington

Washington, DC (Basketball News) - Sophia Young led her team with 24 points to help the San Antonio Silver Stars knock off the Washington Mystics, 84-79, at Verizon Center.

Erin Buescher donated 19 points and seven rebounds while Vickie Johnson and Ruth Riley each had 10 points for the Silver Stars, who have won two straight.

Alana Beard totaled 26 points and six assists and Monique Currie had 16 points and five assists for the Mystics, who have dropped their last two games.
