Storm re-sign Burse

Seattle, WA (Basketball News) - The Seattle Storm re-signed Janell Burse on Thursday.

Burse started and appeared in 27 games for the Storm last season, and averaged 11.1 points and 6.6 rebounds. She has career averages of 6.6 ppg and 4.0 rpg over six seasons split between Minnesota and Seattle.

"We are very excited to have Janell return to help us in our quest to win another championship," Storm coach Anne Donovan said. "JB is an instrumental part of our post game and has proven to be one of the best centers in the WNBA."
