Wallace has started 52 of the 53 games he has played during the 2004-05 campaign and is averaging a career-high 11.1 points and 5.5 rebounds per contest.
The 22-year-old Wallace is in his fourth NBA season. He spent the first three years of his career with Sacramento and owns career averages of 5.5 points and 3.1 boards per game.
Meanwhile, forward Theron Smith was placed on the injured list with right knee swelling.
Smith has appeared in 33 games (five starts) this season and has averaged 3.2 points and 3.5 rebounds in 15.5 minutes. This will mark Smith’s third stint on the injured list.
