The Mavericks try to extend their winning streak to six games on Wednesday when they visit the slumping Golden State Warriors at The Arena in Oakland. It is the fourth and final meeting of the campaign between the clubs. The Warriors won a pair at Dallas, while the Mavericks defeated Golden State, 102-93, on January 25th at The Arena in Oakland.
Dallas has won three straight and 12 of its last 13 at Golden State.
On Monday, All-Star Dirk Nowitzki drained a long jumper with less than a second remaining to lift the Mavericks to a 75-73 win over the Los Angeles Clippers, 75-73, at the Staples Center.
Nowitzki totaled 20 points and 14 rebounds, while Jason Terry netted 15 in the won over the Clippers for Dallas, which has won 13 of its last 19 contests overall.
A victory against Golden State would give Dallas its second 60-win season. The Mavericks won 60 games in the 2002-03 campaign.
The Mavericks, who play the middle contest of a three-game road trip against the Warriors, are 26-13 as the visitor this season. They are scheduled to visit the Phoenix Suns on Thursday.
Dallas closes out its regular season with a pair of games at home. The Mavericks are scheduled to host Utah on Sunday and the Clippers on April 19th.
